Mrs. Jenkins, Director, MS, CCLS

Mrs. Jenkins has been a Certified Child Life Specialist since 1991 and, for 20 years, has worked to minimize the stress of hospitalization and illness on children and families.  She was the Director of the Child Life Department at Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City for nine years before moving to Springfield in 2007 with her husband and then four-year-old son.  While praying to find a great preschool for her son, Audra stumbled upon TOT, and he was included in the very first Pre-K class at the school.  After four years of being a stay-at-home wife, military spouse, and mom, Mrs. Jenkins saw the opportunity to re-enter the workforce and be on the same schedule as her son.  She joined TOT as the assistant director in 2011 and took on the director role in 2012.  She is overjoyed to continue working to brighten the lives of God’s children.
